HEADTEACHERS in the borough came together at an evening which also said farewell to those retiring.
With the school academic year coming to a close, Bromley Council’s portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad hosted the reception in the grounds of the Old Palace at the Civic Centre in Stockwell Close, Bromley.
Cllr Noad addressed the 70 guests while director of children and young people service’s Gillian Pearson gave citations and framed certificates to retiring headteachers.
Music at the event was provided by Langley Park School for Boys, Hawksbrook Lane, South Eden Park Road, Beckenham.
