THREE hundred children with little legs ran a little way to raise a lot for charity.
The primary school pupils took part in Little Legs for Life by running either 500m, 1km or 2km.
There was also a Tiny Legs for Life event for pre-school children.
They were sponsored to take part in the races which were held at Alexandra Junior School, Cator Road, Sydenham, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Event organiser Joan Preston, the secretary of the Bromley and Chislehurst fundraising committee of Cancer Research UK, said: “Little Legs for Life is based on the Race for Life event that is held every year all over the country.
“The children enjoyed themselves and were raising money for other people not so fortunate as ourselves.”
