ASPIRING Steven Spielbergs walked the red carpet at their very own film premiere event.
The students aged from six to 17 at the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Croydon showcased eight of their short films at the Odeon in Beckenham High Street.
Around 150 people gathered outside the cinema to see the youngsters, who also had their own Oscar-style awards ceremony.
Principal Pippa Lee said: “This was a fantastic local event which boosted the students’ confidence and celebrated their hard work and commitment to the film making process.
“They loved walking down the red carpet to much applause and were really inspired by watching the films they had created up on the big screen.”
