AN online service for letting housing association homes has been introduced by the council.
Known as Bexley HomeChoice, the new web-based service went live today (July 22).
As well as being able to view homes on the website, a weekly newsletter advertising available properties will be displayed in the borough’s libraries.
Bexley Council says it has written to everyone on the housing and transfer registers with the information needed to use the service.
The council’s Cabinet Member for Community Affairs Councillor Katie Perrior said: “Homes are still allocated on housing need but the new service makes allocating homes more open.”
