A CHARITY is offering funding to help run projects in the capital which support people with epilepsy.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be awarded to anyone who wishes to run or continue community schemes aiming to improve the lives of epileptics, as part of Epilepsy Action’s Diamond Projects.
These may be voluntary not-for-profit groups with an interest in epilepsy, or schools and health organisations.
Epilepsy Action hopes to support at least 10 Diamond Projects each year for three years, giving total grants of up to £150,000.
The cash is not to be used to fund services an organisation has a statutory responsibility to provide.
