BAKERS put down their loaves and picked up their bikes for a fundraising cycle ride.
Twenty five staff from Allied Bakeries, Cray Valley, Orpington, took part in the 54 mile London to Brighton Bike Ride to support the British Heart Foundation.
This is the 12th year a team from the bakery has completed the event bringing their fundraising total to £20,000.
The bakery’s commercial manager Phil Sproston said: “The cycle was a real fitness test for all those who took part.
“The dedication and effort they have put in over the past 12 years has been fantastic.
“On behalf of the cycling bakers I’d like to say a special thank you to everyone who sponsored us.”
