YOUNGSTERS at a nursery donned university style caps and gowns to celebrate ‘graduating’ and heading up to primary school.
More than forty children at Northfleet Nursery School in London Road dressed up in full graduation regalia to receive certificates at a ceremony in front of their proud families on July 14.
Panna Nagar, headteacher at the nursery, which is overseen by Kent County Council, said: “I introduced the day because leaving nursery school is a big milestone in a child’s life.
“This is a way of making the day even more memorable. It is a great opportunity to celebrate everything the children have achieved through their time here.”
