SCHOOL students have displayed their design and technology work, including a racing car they built, at Bluewater.
Work by around 250 students from Leigh Technology Academy in Green Street Green Road, Dartford, showcased their work in a week-long exhibition at the shopping centre in Greenhithe.
Around 2,000 visitors saw the creations on show, which included fashion designs and a racing car which appeared at this year’s Festival of Speed in Goodwood and is sponsored by Bluewater.
Design and Technology director of learning Steve Leahey said: “It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their work to the local community and a wider audience.
“The quality of their work is truly outstanding and demonstrates the levels we can reach within the secondary school system."
