LIONS fans will definitely not be subjected to the noise of vuvuzelas at The Den this season.
Millwall has ruled out the use of the instrument which created a constant drone at this year’s World Cup in South Africa.
The club already has a ban on musical instruments being taken into The Den and this will include the plastic horns.
A spokesman for the club said: “If they were allowed I’d probably emigrate.”
No word on a ban has come from Charlton yet, while Crystal Palace is yet to make a decision on the vuvuzela’s use.
A Palace spokesman said the club’s stadium manager would be meeting with police to discuss the issue.
Many people have claimed the vuvuzela noise, likened to a swarm of buzzing insects, had ruined the World Cup’s atmosphere, drowning out the chanting of rival fans.
