DARTFORD: Grass fires keep firefighters busy
FIREFIGHTERS battled three grass fires in Dartford last night (July 20).
The crews were called to the grassland off Marsh Street at around 8pm and were there for around 90 minutes dealing with the three separate blazes.
It is not known whether they were started deliberately or accidentally by someone throwing a cigarette from their car as they drove past.
