AROUND 350 people attended a mental hospital’s summer fair.
Bethlem Royal Hospital in Monk’s Orchard Road, Beckenham, hold its Sunfayre every year.
This year, attractions included tours around its archives, museum, art gallery and photography exhibition.
There was a nature walk through the vegetable patches and fruit beds of the walled garden, art workshops and live music throughout the day.
Member of the hospital organising committee Pam Russell said: "By opening our doors and showcasing the great work we do, we hope to reduce some of the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
“The Sunfayre is a fun way of getting the local community and others involved.
"We're already looking forward to next year's event."
