STUDENTS have forged links with their counterparts in Kenya.
The 15 students and three staff members from The Priory School have returned from a visit to their partner school, the Kipriria Academy in the Rift Valley.
Sixth formers from the school in Tintagel Road, Orpington, taught lessons and helped run after-school clubs.
In return the Kipriria pupils showed them how to perform Kenyan dances and songs.
Year 12 pupil Ann-Marie Bradley said: “The children had such enthusiasm in the classroom, they were a joy to teach.
“We were known as the teachers but the children and staff at Kipriria taught me more than I could ever have taught them.”
