PROSECUTORS have announced that a man found not guilty of murdering Richard Price will face a retrial for his manslaughter.
Mr Price, 23, from Bromley, was found with head injuries in an alleyway off Bromley High Street last Halloween and died in hospital on November 3.
Murat Karabeyaz, of Burford Road, Catford, was cleared of murder on July 9.
But the Old Bailey jury could not agree a verdict on a manslaughter charge.
The 25-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to stand trial again on January 4 next year.
One of his co-defendants in the first trial, Jagtar Johal, of Blyth Road, Bromley, was found guilty of manslaughter.
The 37-year-old is due to be sentenced on September 2.
