POLICE are appealing for help tracing a missing 37-year-old man.

Simon Ford was last seen at his home in Plumstead at around 8am on July 17.

According to police, he had recently been depressed and there are concerns for his welfare.

Officers believe Simon may be in the Dartford or Erith areas where his family are from, or in the Purfleet area of Essex.

Simon is white, 6ft 2ins tall and of slim build with short dark hair and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a blue striped t-shirt and a black jacket, with black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
