THE largest family fun event of the summer in Bexley, launches on Saturday.
Lark in the Park, the annual award-winning project which keeps children, teenagers and adults entertained for 16 days, has set up its tents on The Green in Sidcup.
Over the next two weeks there will be the chance for youngsters and young people to take part in music events, art, cage football, crafts, pool, storytelling, drama and a whole host of other activities.
For adults, including the over-60s there are arts and crafts, live entertainment, cookery demonstrations, family nights out with meals, ladies’ nights and romantic evenings.
And almost everything is free.
The event is mostly funded by Sidcup’s churches and hosted by the New Generation Church.
