TOP tennis is back in Bexley this week with the AEGON national competition being played at Danson Park in Welling.
The summer County Cup men’s group seven, doubles event, will take place on the park’s grass courts from today (July 19) until Friday, when seven areas from across the UK will be represented.
This year, the teams playing at Danson are from Shropshire, Isle of Man, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Cumbria, Channel Islands and Gloucestershire.
The tournament came to Bexley for the first time last year.
Bexley councillor Peter Catterall, cabinet member for leisure, arts and tourism, said: “We can expect to see some fantastic tennis on display.”
Entry to watch the games is free and play starts at 10.30am each day.
