WITH the UK’s biggest golfing tournament grabbing the headlines, there was a chance for Bexley people to find out just what golfing is all about.
Barnehurst Golf Course in Mayplace Road East Road, Barnehurst, opened its doors and invited people to have a look around.
Visitors were able to see the newly refurbished clubhouse facilities which are available for hire, and play golf for half the usual green fees.
Children aged between five and 10 years old were invited to try free Tri Golf sessions and enjoy a teddy bears picnic and a barbecue.
