TALENTED young dancers from Bexley have been performing alongside ballerinas from the English National Opera on Horseguards Parade.
The dancers, Saints Crew from St Columbas Catholic Boys’ School in Halcot Avenue, Bexleyheath, were taking part in the Dancing on Parliament event.
Also performing were classical Indian dancers, musical theatre and contemporary dancers.
They performed in front of an audience which included Olympic swimmer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Mark Foster, minister for culture Ed Vaizey, MPs including Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce, peers, councillors and members of the public.
It was part of the Step into Dance project which is building on the explosion in the popularity of dancing as a way of getting more young people into physical activity.
