A GROUP of children from a Bexley primary school have been giving a workshop on money to banking and teaching staff.
The six children from Pelham Primary School in Pelham Road, Bexleyheath, were at a conference on personal finance education, part of the What Money Means initiative.
The children developed and delivered their own workshop to show how their work at school as part of the initiative, had helped them to better understand money.
Among the school’s activities aimed at improving the children’s financial skills were looking at how money is earned and learning how to spend it wisely.
The youngsters were also invited to think about what future jobs they would like and how families become economically active.
