A PLANNED multi-million pound cycle park was promoted to the UK bike community at a festival.
Kent County Council (KCC) showcased designs for its Cyclopark, which will be opened off the A2 near Northfleet in 2012, at cycling festival BikeRadar Live 2010 at Brands Hatch on July 10 and 11.
The Cyclopark project team told luminaries from the cycling world about the park, which will include a cycle track, BMX track, skate park, football pitches, playground and pavilion for indoor sports.
Project manager Laurence Tricker said: “With construction starting this autumn and only two years until completion it is vital we spread the word about Cyclopark and its value as a unique and exciting local project.”
