YOUNGSTERS have the chance to go back in time and experience what it was like to be a Roman.
Crofton Roman Villa has a host of activities lined up next month for children aged from five to 11.
Every Wednesday kids will have the opportunity to dress up as a Roman soldier and find out about their weapons and armour, while on Fridays youngsters can experience a mock Roman feast and make menu cards.
On both days there will also be Roman mosaic-making, games and brass rubbing at the villa in Crofton Road, Orpington.
Sessions start at 10.30am and 2.30pm with entry £3 per child.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, who gets free admission.
