FOUR more teenagers have been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Nicholas Pearton.
A 17-year-old boy from Deptford, along with two 15-year-old boys from Bromley and Catford and a 14-year-old from Catford are due to appear at Camberwell Green Youth Court today (July 15).
Nicholas Pearton was stabbed to death in Home Park, Sydenham, on May 5 between 4pm and 6.15pm.
Four other youths have previously been charged with the teenager’s murder and appeared at the same court.
They are two 17-year-old boys from Catford and Lewisham, a 16-year-old boy from Bromley and a 15-year-old boy from Lewisham.
The 15-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (July 16).
The other three have also been remanded in custody and are set to appear at the Old Bailey on September 10 for a plea and case management hearing.
Sheldon Gordon, aged 22, of Windrush Lane, Forest Hill, was charged on Tuesday with perverting the course of justice.
He has been bailed to appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court on July 23.
Eleven other youths, who were arrested shortly after the killing, have been bailed to return to a south London police station pending further enquiries.
