TEENAGERS learned about the importance of road safety through a car crash video and mock inquest.
The Driven by Consequences campaign targeted Year 12 students aged 16 and 17 who are about to start driving.
Workshops to drive home the safety message were held at Langley Park Boys School in Hawksbrook Lane, South Eden Park Road, Beckenham and Ravens Wood School in Oakley Road, Bromley.
Bromley Council’s road safety manager Elaine Beadle said: “Training and education is essential in helping young, inexperienced drivers understand the risks of driving inappropriately.
“In Bromley, we have seen that sustained long term training targeted at relevant age groups, is effective in reducing accidents, particularly amongst young drivers.”
