STANDARDS were so high at this year’s Model Tots competition at the Broadway Shopping Centre Bexleyheath, two children were awarded the top prize.
The annual competition attracts thousands of entries for the top prize of a contract with the child modelling agency, the Elizabeth Smith Agency.
This year, for only the fourth time in the 19 years of the competition, there were two winners, George Amatrudd, from Eltham, in the zero to 12 months class for boys and Peyton Moyo from Belvedere, in the girls' category for three to five-year-olds.
The 8,000 hopefuls were reduced to just eight finalists and the winners were announced by Bexley mayor, Councillor Val Clark at Bexley Council’s civic offices in Bexleyheath Broadway.
