POLICE will be operating from mobile stations in town centres on specific days in July.
A mobile station will be placed in Passey Place in Eltham on July 24 and in Greens End, Woolwich, on July 31.
The Greenwich police scheme is designed to bring officers and the public closer together to discuss local policing concerns.
Detective Chief Superintendent Richard Wood said: "We look forward to meeting as many residents as possible whilst out with the mobile station.
"We want to be visible, and want people to approach us and talk to us about their concerns. We are also looking for those who can offer their time and join the Met and get involved by volunteering."
