A LEISURE centre is encouraging disabled youngsters to join its activities club.
White Oak Leisure Centre in Swanley launched its weekly club for disabled people aged five to 17 as well as their family and carers earlier this year, but it wants more people to join.
To encourage new members, the centre in Hilda May Avenue is holding a two-hour showcase of the work it does with disabled young people from 11am to 1pm on July 31.
A spokeswoman for the centre said: “We want to ensure more disabled youngsters and families in Swanley know what we are doing and what is on offer every week at the centre during school term time.”
For more information on the club, which takes place on Tuesday afternoons, call 01322 662188.
