ROAD works have forced a bus company to temporarily suspend its service to a village centre.
Arriva’s 477 service will not be travelling to the centre of Wilmington during the closure of Church Hill for road works, which begin on July 26 and are expected to take six weeks.
An Arriva spokesman said there will be minor changes to the times of the 477, which goes between Dartford, Swanley and Orpington, and it will not go along Church Hill and High Road.
Instead, it will run via Oakfield Lane, Common Lane and the western end of High Road, before rejoining the normal route at Barn End Lane. For full details of the temporary timetable, go to arrivabus.co.uk or calli 0844 800 4411.
