IT was a taste of things to come when 10 and 11-year-olds took part in a careers day.
The Year 6 children at Belmont Primary School in Erith, had been discussing what they wanted to be when they grow up, and how to achieve it.
So classroom assistant and parent Heather Woods put together a careers day when a variety of people, including some parents, came to the school to talk about their jobs.
Visitors included the emergency services, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, police forensic officers, Welling United FC and Helen O’Grady Drama Academy, while among the parents there was an architect, fashion designer and a mechanic.
There was also a mock job interview and a quiz based on starting work.
