THE 19th annual exhibition of The Friends of The Horniman once again attracted plenty of art lovers to Forest Hill's landmark museum at the weekend.
Paintings, prints and sculptures from south London’s artist community went on display in The Horniman Museum's conservatory and visitors were able to buy framed and unframed works, cards and postcards.
Spokeswoman for the Friends group, Yvonne Riordan, said: "This wonderful museum does so much for the community and this is a real community spirited event.
"It's just lovely seeing all the people coming to see the artwork, some to browse, some to spend, but a real coming together of lots of different people.
"We all work voluntarily, including the museum staff on these occasions, so again, there is that great working together spirit."
