AN ELECTRICAL fault is being blamed for a fire which saw 25 firefighters called to a mobile phone shop in Gravesend.
Wearing breathing apparatus they forced their way in to the back of the shop in New Road to tackle the blaze at around 8.45pm.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty fridge in the staff room.
It was restricted to this room because of the fire door but there is smoke damage to the entire property.
Fire crews from Thames-side and the surrounding area were at the scene until 11pm last night.
