A SUPERMARKET has chosen to support a charity which helps chronically ill children over the next 12 months.
Customers shopping at Sainsbury’s in Pallant Way, Locksbottom, have nominated The Maypole Project as the store’s charity of the year.
Cash will be raised through donations and fundraising events organised by supermarket staff.
Store manager Elliot Pilcher said: “The Maypole Project is such a worthy cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it over the next 12 months.
“We will be calling on all our customers to join our staff in helping them to raise much needed funds.”
