A HOSPICE has donated much needed medical supplies to a hospital in Burma.
EllenorLions Hospice in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, sent syringes to Yangon Children’s Hospital after it issued a list of equipment and drugs needed to help provide care for seriously ill children.
Director of Nursing and Care Claire Cardy says the hospice was more than happy to help in any way it could.
She said: “It is a real privilege to be in a position to help others in need.
“Part of our mission is to provide ‘all encompassing’ and ‘world leading’ hospice care.
“Being able to donate these materials is just another way we can fulfil our mission.”
