VOLUNTEERS’ work has been praised at a celebration of their acheivements.
The Make a Difference event at the Bromley Education Development Centre, Church Lane, highlighted those who work with the Bromley Education Business Partnership (BEBP).
Partnership volunteers work across a range of projects – from mentoring older students, to working with small groups of younger students and improving reading and numeracy skills.
Other businesses offer work placements, entrepreneurial workshops or assist school leavers in interview and CV writing skills.
The partnership’s work was illustrated by the Primary Eco Challenge backed by both News Shopper and The Glades shopping centre where children made sculptures out of recycled materials.
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the BEBP on 020 8462 5046, or email ebp.admin@bromley.gov.uk
