A TEAM made up of four students from Dartford Technology College won the U13s court volleyball contest of the Kent School Games in Canterbury on Saturday.
Natalie Smeeth, Rhianna Nash, Herieth Oluwadare and Temi Mbade worked extremely hard all year attending practice sessions every week right the way up to the event itself.
Coach Miss Molyneux said: “I was very proud of the way the girls played and hopefully this win will give them the confidence to win more competitions in the future.
“The success was even more of an accomplishment as they had stumbled in the heats in the lead up to the final.
Earlier in the week, Dartford Technology College’s U15s hockey team just missed out on a final appearance at the Kent School Games when they were knocked out by Tonbridge in the semi-finals, a result which forced them to settle for fourth place.
