A GROUP of talented youngsters has won through to the finals of a national dance competition being held at the O2.
The dancers from All the Arts Theatre schools in Bexley and New Eltham won the Kent heats of Dance for Life, being held to raise cash for the British Red Cross.
They took on six other groups at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford, to win their place in both the junior and senior categories.
The dance routines have to reflect an aspect of the Red Cross’s work, as well as raising funds.
Schools principal and former actress Lucy Morgans said: “We entered the competition for a fun experience for our pupils while raising money for a good cause.
“We were astounded to win first place in both the junior and senior categories.”
Tickets for the event are available from theo2.co.uk/indigo2/event/dance-for-life
