MEDICAL advice is being offered to help people stay safe in the hot weather.
Bromley people are being advised that heatwaves can cause people to suffer dehydration, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
Symptoms of heat exhaustion include headaches, dizziness, vomiting, pale skin, muscle cramps and high body temperature.
If you experience any of these symptoms, you should let someone know how you are feeling, move to a cool place and drink plenty of water.
Heatstroke can lead to sleepiness, confusion, aggression and convulsions. Anyone suffering these symptoms should seek medical advice.
