GOLFERS are taking part in a tournament to raise cash for wounded soldiers.
The competition is part of the National Golf Club Challenge which will see hundreds of golf clubs raise money for the Help the Heroes charity.
Golfers at Orpington Golf Centre in Sandy Lane, St Pauls Cray, will take part in the event on July 24 and 25.
All entry fees will go to the charity and, if the club is in the top six participating, golfers will get the chance to take part in a national final.
A spokesman for Crown Golf, which runs the club, said: “It is truly a worthy cause, which has huge support from the general public these days.
