A HOSPICE has been nominated as a supermarket’s charity partner by customers.
Over the next 12 months, Sainsbury’s in Beckenham High Street will give money donated from fundraising to St Christopher’s Hospice in Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham.
The supermarket plans to launch the partnership at the end of next month.
St Christopher’s needs to raise £9m each year from donations and fundraising and sees this as an opportunity to reach out to people in Beckenham.
Store manager Nick Barnes said: “St Christopher’s Hospice is such a worthy cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it over the next 12 months.”
