A MAN who spent 21days on a life support machine after a road accident, is appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Doro Oddiri, 40, of Wolvercote Road, Thamesmead, was hit by a car as he got off a 180 bus in Yarnton Way, Thamesmead on March 3 at about 1pm.
Mr Oddiri suffered head injuries, multiple fractures, lacerations to his kidney and two collapsed lungs.
He spent six weeks being treated in the trauma unit at the Royal London Hospital, and now faces further hospital treatment.
It is not known if he will fully recover.
The driver of the R registration blue Ford Escort which hit him, stopped at the scene and gave a police statement and there is CCTV footage of the accident.
But Mr Oddiri’s solicitors believe there may be other witnesses, especially people on the same bus.
They are pursuing a claim for compensation to pay for Mr Oddiri's continuing specialist care.
