TWO brave teachers helped their school reach its charity fundraising target by overcoming a fear of heights for a sponsored 13,000ft parachute jump.
Charles Darwin School teachers Anne Adams and Katy Farrell raised more than £1,000 for charity Help for Heroes, which supports soldiers wounded on the frontline.
This brings the total amount raised so far this year by Year 9 pupils at the Jail Lane school in Biggin Hill to around £3,500.
The teachers jumped from a plane at the Army Training Estate on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.
It was an extra special occasion for Miss Farrell, who celebrated her 27th birthday on the same day.
People can donate money in a collection box at the school reception.
