THE fight against criminal damage on London’s buses has been successful in driving down the amount of damage and saving the capital’s bus companies millions of pounds.

Since operation BusTag was launched in November 2004 by the Met Police’s safer transport command, it has made more than 3,000 arrests for criminal damage on buses, with 95 per cent of them resulting in successful prosecutions.

News Shopper readers are being asked to Shop A Yob by helping identify the young people caught on camera on buses in Bexley which have suffered damage.

If you recognise any of the people in the photographs call BusTag on 020 7027 8950 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
