A SUSPECT in the 1993 murder of Stephen Lawrence is facing prison after admitting supplying cannabis.
Gary Dobson, 34, pleaded guilty to supplying class B drugs and possessing class B drugs with intent to supply at Kingston Crown Court yesterday (June 3).
A sentencing date has not yet been set for Dobson, who lives in Mountain Hill, Swanley, but he is expected to be given a prison term.
Stephen Lawrence, aged 18, was stabbed to death in Eltham on April 22, 1993.
Five men, including Dobson, were arrested after the initial investigation but were never convicted.
Dobson and two other men were acquitted of murdering the A-level student from Plumstead after a private prosecution brought by the Lawrence family collapsed at the Old Bailey in 1996.
