YOUNGSTERS saw worms, mice and bees during a fun day.
The Biodiversity Bonanza event was held at High Elms Country Park in Shire Lane, Farnborough.
Wildlife workshops, pond dipping and falconry displays were included in the activities.
The family fun day was on May 31 and included arts and crafts and orchid walks.
It was organised to highlight the work of naturalist Charles Darwin, who lived in Downe.
Leader of the Discover Darwin project, Aimee Clarke, said: “Darwin was the first person to highlight the theory of evolution in his home.
“We used to the day to introduce British species and worldwide species to people.”
The event was also in celebration of the International Day of Biodiversity on March 22.
