A VOLUNTARY river clean up will soon be taking place for environmentally conscious residents.
The 3 Rivers Clean-up is designed to encourage Lewisham residents to take care of their natural surroundings.
The project has been organised by environmental charities working with Lewisham Council and aims to clear rivers of rubbish and damaging weeds.
The main rivers to be cleaned are the Ravensbourne, Pool, and Quaggy, and a party will be held for volunteers once the work is complete.
