THIRTY firefighters battled a blaze in a block of flats in Gravesend overnight.
The fire did not spread from the first home where it started at around 11.45pm last night (June 3) but smoke seeped into seven other flats.
Everyone living in the building in Homemead managed to get themselves out before the fire crews from Thames-side, Dartford and surrounding areas arrived.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
Crews managed to put the blaze out and leave the scene by 2.30am.
