REGULARS at a pub danced the night away to raise money for homelessness charity Shelter.

The dancers, who wore 80s-style fancy dress, hope to raise as much as £800 following the six-hour dance marathon, which ran non-stop from 6pm to midnight at The Oak pub in Widmore Road, Bromley.

Participants were allowed three 15-minute breaks during the dance.

There was also a raffle as well as music from a DJ.

Organiser Janis Giddings said: “It went very well.

“Nobody showed any signs of tiredness and it was very good exercise for everyone.

“Other people even joined in dancing while eating their dinner.”
