STUDENTS with learning difficulties had a fun time showing off their sporting talents at their college’s annual sports day.
All 60 pupils at Nash College, Croydon Road, Hayes, enjoyed activities and games especially adapted to meet their special needs.
The day’s film and movie star theme also gave the youngsters a sense of working together as a team.
Nash College, which is run by disability charity Livability, is London’s only specialist residential college for 18 to 25 year olds with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Principal Claire Howley-Mummery said: “Sports day is when our whole college can come together and use sports, events and fun as a positive backdrop for learning.”
