THE River Cray in Crayford will be turning yellow for the day as hundreds of ducks flood into the water.
The ducks will be taking part in the annual races on the river, a traditional part of Crayford fun day organised by Crayford Rotary Club.
This year’s event is on June 12 in Waterside, Crayford, from 10am until 3pm.
There are five duck races, each sponsored by a local business, and all the ducks are numbered so people can bet on the outcome.
In addition to the races there will be charity stalls, entertainments, inflatables, an owl display from Jambs Owls and face painting.
Erith Yacht Club, which is undergoing a £3m revamp and expanding its community sailing programme, will also be there with one of its boats.
