A TEENAGER waiting for a train at Belvedere railway station was attacked by another youth because of an oustanding debt.
Now British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting the youth who headbutted his victim during the row, before returning with a bottle and smashing the teenager over the head with it.
The incident took place on April 28 at about 6.30pm.
After the youth had headbutted the 17-year-old, another man also waiting on the platform, separated the two and the youth left, only to return shortly afterwards.
His victim, from Dagenham, needed stitches to cuts on his head and face.
The youth is described as aged about 18, stocky with short dark hair and goatee beard and was wearing a hooded top.
Anyone who saw the incident, especially the man who separated the two, should call BTP on 0800 405040 quoting reference 515 and April 28 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
