NEWS Shopper has received reports of popular TV character Postman Pat losing his famous feline friend Jess on the way to perform at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

If you have seen Jess, or at least a cat which looks like her, you could be a winner in our competition – and you could get a visit from Postman Pat himself with a special delivery.

Postman Pat has sadly lost Jess, his lovely black-and-white cat, when travelling down to Bromley for his new show next week, and he needs your help to find his trusty sidekick.

If your cat is a Jessalike, a black-and-white cat that looks just like Postman Pat’s cat, then grab your camera and take a picture.

Send it to the Churchill’s Twitter page @the_churchill or News Shopper’s Twitter page @NewsShopper

Alternatively send it via Facebook or email it to News Shopper

A judging panel will choose the cat most similar Jess and the winning owner will receive a visit from Pat who will arrive with a parcel of Postman Pat goodies.

The closing date for entries is Monday, June 7. Entrants must live within the News Shopper area of Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Dartford and Gravesham.

The show

Premier Stage Productions are bringing Postman Pat and his brand new live show A Very Royal Mission to the Churchill on June 11 and 12.

Pat is now the newly promoted Head of the Special Delivery Service. In Pencaster, everyone has received a letter from the Palace, delivered by Pat and his faithful cat Jess, of course.

A very important person is coming to open the brand new SDS Sorting Office and they only have a short time to get themselves, and Pencaster, prepared for a very royal visit.

Mrs Goggins, Ted Glen and Ben Taylor are helping with the preparations, while PC Selby finally has something important to do! What could possibly go wrong?

But look out! Just as everything is prepared a storm hits Pencaster, throwing the royal visit into doubt. Only one man can be counted on – the Head of the SDS, Postman Pat! With a little help from Jess the Cat and his brand new SDS Helicopter!

Join Pat and his friends in 90 minutes of fun, participation and special surprises - a brilliant introduction to live theatre for children and suitable for all the family.
